Inspired to work in the fitness industry: Because I want to show my children and others what a healthy lifestyle is and encourage others in their fitness journey.
About seven years ago I found out I was pregnant with my daughter and was beginning to lose my eyesight. I have been a Type One Diabetic for 25 years and never really watched my diet that well or exercised consistently. When that happened it hit home. My Life changed after a having a brand new baby girl and seven different eye surgeries. I started watching what I was eating and started exercising consistently. I knew changing my lifestyle was my only option to being a healthy and happy mom. I’ve lost over 50 pounds and I am still a work in progress. I’ve fallen in love with the gym and working out!
I am currently employed as a correctional officer at Cumberland County Prison. The inmates will tell you when you’re stressed out at work.
Everyone’s story is unique and different and I’m excited to help others down the road to a well balanced, healthy lifestyle. I will encourage others to work out too. It’s not easy and having the accountability and support is so important.
My favorite saying is, “The pain you feel today, is the strength you feel tomorrow”. It is so true! Every day is a step toward our stronger tomorrow!! I look forward to helping you reach your fitness goals
