Health and fitness has always been a big part of my life growing up. Now that I have my own family it is important that I implement both health and fitness in my kids daily lives. My kids are my life and they help to push and motivate me day after day. It is important to me that I am able to teach my kids the importance of eating healthy and staying active. This mantra carries over into my training for each and every one of my clients.
I have made a point to train in all different aspects when it comes to health and fitness. I have competed as a powerlifter, endurance racer, crossfitter, and bodybuilder. I continue to expand my training knowledge by competing in alternate fitness platforms, I am currently considering MMA training in the near future. Experiencing different training methods allows me to put together programs that are unique to my clients. It is important that when starting a program that each of my clients has a specific goal that they are trying to accomplish. This can be something as simple as a 5k race or event that will take some consistent training. This type motivation can be essential in reaching the goals that my clients are trying to accomplish.
I am currently finishing my Master’s Degree in Sports Management at Liberty University in which I plan to pursue a management position within a collegiate level athletic department. I plan to continue to train strength and conditioning at the collegiate level and will hopefully be able to continue training clients on the side throughout my career. Training is all about moving forward one set at a time, consistence, and finding that motivation. Let me help you find your motivation.
