David Sipes

David is certified personal trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. David has over 15 years of experience in the fitness Industry and has worked with individuals with a variety of exercise backgrounds, goals, and injuries.

Those goals include weight loss, fat loss, enhancing athletic performance, strength, power and helping speed recovery after an injury or surgery. David’s years of experience has helped him develop an expertise in a variety of disciplines. He has also worked with clients to help continue their rehabilitation process after they’ve completed physical therapy. He specializes in working with clients who have physical limitations when exercising such as osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, and knee plica. David is an evidence-based trainer; he uses the research to develop customized programs to fit the needs and restrictions of each client.

David has worked as the strength and conditioning coach at Chambersburg High School for the last 2.5 years where his responsibilities included developing programs for 11 different sports teams. He taught plyometrics, speed and agility, strength, power and core strength while producing results. The Trojans football team recently went to the playoffs after finishing 0-10 1 season ago! Athletes saw 33 percent increases in one rep max for bench press and 22 percent increases in one rep max for squats over the course of one year.

Regardless of the diversity in clientele, he has learned training is about building relationships with others, and encouraging others to be their best. David looks forward to working with you to meet your health or fitness goals.
