Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a passion for fitness and education. After growing up riding horses competitively, starting my own small business teaching riding lessons (Whisperwood Farm in Dillsburg, PA), playing soccer, and running track in college, it only made sense to choose a field of study that enhanced my knowledge in these areas.
I graduated from Messiah College in 2017 with a double major in nutrition/dietetics and exercise science and a goal of teaming up with others to inspire them toward pursuing a healthy lifestyle in a way that meets their needs. Over the last academic year I completed a nationally-accredited dietetic internship through Messiah and after passing my board exam in June, I am now a registered dietitian. Between training for soccer, track, riding, and various Spartan/long distance races over the years, I’ve had the benefit of experiencing the effects of multiple types of physical activity on the body.
Nutrition and exercise go hand-in-hand, and I am very excited to use this background to assist others in their journey toward becoming the best version of themselves they can be. There is no such thing as a “one size fits all” approach to health, and I want to come alongside my clients and utilize individualized, evidence-based techniques to help them make lasting changes.
Together, we can learn to enjoy living a balanced and healthy lifestyle rather than letting it become another burden in our busy schedules.
